This session saw Python expand into a
beginners group: those moving on from Scratch and
beginner+ group: those on their second or third session
The beginner+ group used variables to hold values typed in by a user. They wrote a program that would work out how old someone was in months, days, minutes, seconds and nanoseconds!
The minecraft ninjas carried on hacking and the Scratch ninjas made more expansive games.
Meanwhile we had two Scratch groups - beginners and intermediates. The intermediates worked on a great Christmas game from Code Club that introduced them to scrolling backgrounds for the first time.
